Run What Ya Brung

Pre-Booking Only

Take your car out on the famous quarter-mile dragstrip and test its performance limits in a safe and legal environment. Open to pre-1973’s vehicles only, Retro, Classic, Hot Rod and American cars (sorry, no rear engined cars or bikes).

Signing on for RWYB is now online. You will still need to visit the Sign On Office to show your driving licence and your race voucher e-ticket before hitting the track. Please note an Admission ticket is required in addition to your RWYB Race Voucher.

Please note that at this event, helmets are compulsory for all participants. Neck padding and arm restraints are recommended. Unlimited runs for £45 per day Sign-on, Fri, Sat & Sun. More info on the RWYB page. (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Dirty Dozen

These are trophies awarded by the NSRA committee. The cars don’t have to be the shiniest or prettiest, they certainly don’t have to be the quickest but they are judged to have been representative of the ‘Spirit of the Event’. The only criteria is that they must have been put through their paces on the quarter mile at some point over the weekend. (Sun)

Firestorm Jet Car

Roger Goring's Ford Mustang-bodied jet car is capable of 6 second passes at over 200mph down the quarter mile. It is the only centre-driven Jet Funny Car outside the USA and is propelled by a General Electric J85 turbojet engine. (Sat & Sun)

Ricky Gowen will be making exhibition passes in The Cannonball nostalgia funny car. (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Exhibition - Adam Clayton

Adam Clayton will be making exhibition passes in the Firecracker fuel altered. (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Exhibition - Bryan Whitfield

Bryan Whitfield will be making exhibition passes in the High Spirits OSCAR. (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Exhibition - Nick Davies

Nick Davies will be making exhibition passes in the No Quarter Topolino OSCAR. (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Exhibition - Joe Bond

Joe Bond will be making exhibition passes in his methanol burning front engined dragster. (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Exhibition - Bob Hawkins

Bob Hawkins will be making exhibition passes in the Time Traveller Two nitro slingshot. (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Cracklefest

There will be a cracklefest with cars lining up and all firing up together. (Sat)

Show Car Parking

There are no trophies or judging but if you want to park your car up for like minded people to admire then head on over to the Show Car Parking area. (Sun)

BBMF

The Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be flying over Santa Pod Raceway with a historic WWII Spitfire each day, Fri 11.22am, Sat 11.59am & 3.29pm and Sunday at 11.35am. (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Nostalgia Trade Village

There will be traders at the show selling anything from clothing and stickers to car parts and collectables.

Crackle Car - Yesterday's Dreams

Under new ownership, Yesterday's Dreams will be back at Dragstalgia. Displaying on the Friday and crackling on Saturday and Sunday, get up close and personal with this stunning slingshot". (Sat & Sun)

Fireworks Display

There will be a spectacular firework display on Saturday evening. (Sat)

Fun Fair Rides

All the fun of the fair with Dodgems, Waltzers, Arcades, Candy Floss and Sideshows! (All days)

Tokens available indivually or in bundles: Get 27 funfair tokens for £25 or 55 tokens for £50 and really keep the kids busy for hours! Each token counts as £1 when redeemed. (Tokens can be purchased via cash or card from the token counter in the middle of the fun fair and are non-refundable.)

Ride Prices (tokens): Dodgems - 5 (1 or 2 in a car), Waltzer - 4, Trampolines - 3, Kids Rides - 3. (Only Tokens, No cash will be accepted on rides)

Live Music*

As well as all the track action there will also be Live Bands on Friday and Saturday in the Music Marquee as well as music in Fuelers Bar. (Fri & Sat)

The Albert George Collective

The Albert George Collective are an up and coming, awards nominated blues/rock/soul group, performing a soul stirring mix of original material and classic blues covers. They're in their 8th year of headlining festivals & blowing the rafters off venues up and down the UK, keeping the blues alive wherever they go.

Moon Dog Joe

Moon Dog Joe is a 5 piece band playing classic rock with a bit of blues in the mix.  all songs are covers from popular artists like the Rolling Stones,  Fleetwood Mac, Cream and Free .  we play a mix of well known numbers and like to have a bit of fun.

Camping

On site camping is included with all multi-day admission tickets to Santa Pod Raceway; tents, caravans and motorhomes are all welcome. View details on the Camping Page.

Bars & Caterers

There are licensed bars and caterers on site selling food and drink. You can pay for items on site from our catering units and Pod Shop with contactless card payment or cash. There are cash machines in the catering area and Pod Shop. View Caterer details

Shop & Eat at Rushden Lakes

As part of your Nostalgia weekend we’re pleased to be offering a free courtesy bus to and from Rushden Lakes on Saturday for those who’d like to visit for a few hours. The bus will be running from the NSRA information tent on the hour from 10am-6.30pm (Last bus leaving the track at 6pm, and Rushden Lakes at 6:30pm). Return journeys will be from the drop off point at half past the hour from 10.30am-6.30pm. Please see www.rushdenlakes.com for details on the lakes. (Sat)

Pamper Pod

The Pamper Pod is equipped with mirrors, electric points, dressing tables and chairs, you can freshen up in the morning or get dolled up for the evening. So whether you want to straighten that frizz, create some curls or apply that lippy, come along to the Pamper Pod and make yourself ready. (7-11am & 4-8pm Fri & Sat, 7-11am Sun)
