Run What Ya Brung

Pre-Booking Only

Take your car out on the famous quarter-mile dragstrip and test its performance limits in a safe and legal environment. Open to pre-1973’s vehicles only, Retro, Classic, Hot Rod and American cars (sorry, no rear engined cars or bikes).

Signing on for RWYB is now online. You will still need to visit the Sign On Office to show your driving licence and your race voucher e-ticket before hitting the track. Please note an Admission ticket is required in addition to your RWYB Race Voucher.

Please note that at this event, helmets are compulsory for all participants. Neck padding and arm restraints are recommended. Unlimited runs for £45 per day Sign-on, Fri, Sat & Sun. More info on the RWYB page. (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Flathead Meltdown

Having formed in the 80s/90s and having been run at Shakespeare County Raceway for several years, the Flathead Meltdown is making its welcomed return to the Hot Rod Drags this weekend at Santa Pod Raceway. Open to flathead vehicles only, these Hot Rods are required to be period correct, meaning no disc brakes, coil overs or radial tyres. (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Dirty Dozen

These are trophies awarded by the NSRA committee. The cars don’t have to be the shiniest or prettiest, they certainly don’t have to be the quickest but they are judged to have been representative of the ‘Spirit of the Event’. The only criteria is that they must have been put through their paces on the quarter mile at some point over the weekend. (Sun)

Cracklefest

There will be a cracklefest with cars lining up and all firing up together. (Sat)

Firestorm Jet Car

Roger Goring's state of the art Ford Mustang bodied Jet car is one of only 3 centre drive Jet Funny Cars in the world and the only one outside of the USA. (Sat & Sun)

Mooneyes Dragster

Mooneyes and their original Dragster were one of the first teams to give the UK a taste of Drag Racing at the Brighton Speed Trials in 1963. Now, we are delighted to welcome the Official Mooneyes team and their replica dragster to Dragstalgia 2024. The chassis is built by Dode Martin of Dragmaster, who built the Original Mooneyes Dragster, with a 350ci Chevy run on Methanol. Get up close and personal to this iconic machine in the pits. Dos Palmas

The beautiful 'Dos Palmas' dragster will be on display at Dragstalgia. This car made it's first appearance in the UK in 1964 and the following year became the first American Dragster to be imported into the UK, setting various records before returning to the US. (All Days)

Funny Car

There will be nitro in the air this weekend as the Thermoreg funny car will be putting in some test passes at Hot Rod Drags.

Show Car Parking

There are no trophies or judging but if you want to park your car up for like minded people to admire then head on over to the Show Car Parking area. (Sun)

Crackle Car

Bill Sherratt will be displaying his stunning slingshot dragster and will be rolling out of the marquee across the weekend to do static crackles outside. The car will also be taking part in the on-track Cracklefest on Saturday. (Sat & Sun)

Nostalgia Trade Village

There will be traders at the show selling anything from clothing and stickers to car parts and collectables.

Fun Fair Rides

All the fun of the fair with Dodgems, Waltzers, Arcades, Candy Floss and Sideshows! (All days)

Tokens available indivually or in bundles: Get 27 funfair tokens for £25 or 55 tokens for £50 and really keep the kids busy for hours! Each token counts as £1 when redeemed. (Tokens can be purchased via cash or card from the token counter in the middle of the fun fair and are non-refundable.)

Ride Prices (tokens): Dodgems - 5 (1 or 2 in a car), Extreme - 4, Waltzer - 4, Trampolines - 3, Kids Rides - 3. (Only Tokens, No cash will be accepted on rides)

Fireworks Display

There will be a spectacular firework display on Saturday evening. (Sat)

Live Music*

As well as all the track action there will also be Live Bands on Friday and Saturday in the Music Marquee and DJ Grant Pinny behind the decks Fuelers Bar. (Fri & Sat)

Echoplane

Echoplane are a crowd pleasing upbeat covers band from Bedfordshire. (Fri 7.30 Music Marquee)

The Horizons

For lovers of big guitar riffs, epic drums, catchy lyrics, one of the southwests best indie bands! (Fri 10pm Music Marquee)

Slim 47

Slim 47 are a Northamptonshire based band, covering indie/rock anthems from the last 25 years. (Sat 7.30pm Music Marquee)

Cracker Collins

Cracker Collins ..Boogie woogie, R ‘n’ R, jump blues. (Sat 10pm Music Marquee)

BBMF

The Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be flying over Santa Pod Raceway with an historic WWII Lancaster on Saturday, this will consist of one pass only. (Sat)

Camping

On site camping is included with all multi-day admission tickets to Santa Pod Raceway; tents, caravans and motorhomes are all welcome. View details on the Camping Page.

Pamper Pod

The Pamper Pod is equipped with mirrors, electric points, dressing tables and chairs, you can freshen up in the morning or get dolled up for the evening. So whether you want to straighten that frizz, create some curls or apply that lippy, come along to the Pamper Pod and make yourself ready. (7-11am & 4-8pm Fri & Sat, 7-11am Sun)

Bars & Caterers

There are licensed bars and caterers on site selling food and drink. You can pay for items on site from our catering units and Pod Shop with contactless card payment or cash. There are cash machines in the catering area and Pod Shop. View Caterer details

Shop & Eat at Rushden Lakes

As part of your Nostalgia weekend we’re pleased to be offering a free courtesy bus to and from Rushden Lakes on Saturday for those who’d like to visit for a few hours. The bus will be running from the NSRA information tent on the hour from 10am-6.30pm (Last bus leaving the track at 6pm, and Rushden Lakes at 6:30pm). Return journeys will be from the drop off point at half past the hour from 10.30am-6.30pm. Please see www.rushdenlakes.com for details on the lakes. (Sat)
