Santa Pod Raceway is the UK’s most action packed motorsport venue and we are currently recruiting for our new season, which is from February until November.

We have a variety of seasonal jobs, offering flexible working hours with something for people of all ages and backgrounds.

General Event Staff

Catering Staff

The Caterers at Santa Pod Raceway are looking for part-time staff to cover weekends at our venue. We will pass all the applications to the relevant caterers. The caterer will discuss the relevant hourly wages directly.

As part of their staff team it is essential to have good customer service skills, they need employees that are polite and helpful to give a positive experience to valued customers at our venue. You can expect a fast moving and demanding environment.

Applicant must be available to work weekends and some additional evenings/days where necessary. Flexibility required. Previous experience is preferable but not necessary.

Hygiene Operatives

The Hygiene Team at Santa Pod Raceway are looking for part-time staff to cover weekends and nights at our venue. We will pass all the applications to the Hygiene Manager; they will discuss the relevant hourly wages directly.

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our exceptional team of Hygiene Operatives responsible for cleaning facilities at Santa Pod. As a vital part of our operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic restroom facilities for customers as part of our day or night cleaning team. This is a part time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment alongside a great team.

Applicant must be available to work weekends and some additional evenings/days where necessary. Flexibility required. Previous experience is preferable but not necessary.

  • Perform thorough cleaning of restroom facilities before, during, and after events.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, tidiness, and proper stocking of supplies in restrooms.
  • Regularly inspect and monitor restroom facilities to identify and address any issues promptly.
  • Empty and sanitize waste receptacles and replace liners as needed.
  • Assist with crowd management and provide friendly customer service to event attendees as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

Skills and attributes:

  • Prior experience in cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to prioritise work effectively.

Event Commentator/Host

Santa Pod Raceway are looking to boost their pool of event hosts/commentators for a selection of automotive and lifestyle events throughout the year. Predominantly, we are looking for someone to commentate on the live action aspects of events as well as hosting presentations and commentating on the drag racing/Run What Ya Brung. Shifts are mostly on weekends and bank holidays with occasional additional weekdays. Someone with a keen interest in cars and/or bikes is preferred but they must be well spoken and enthusiastic.

Rates dependant on experience.

Santa Pod Medical Services

Santa Pod Medical Services, part of Santa Pod Raceway, is looking to recruit all grades of healthcare providers to be part of the team on a self employed basis. Santa Pod Medical Services provide emergency medical cover at a range of events at the Raceway from high performance drag racing and car shows to music festivals in Northamptonshire.

All qualifications and DBS checks for all grades will verified prior to commencement of joining the team.

Requirements:

Due to the nature of this role successful candidates must have the ability to work in either an emergency ambulance environment and or a treatment area and have a minimum of two years post qualification experience. The successful candidates will need to have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, as well as being able to work as part of a team or independently.

Essential Experience/Qualifications:

  • Emergency Care Assistant Course, FREC Lvl 3 Min
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent (Health Care Assistant).
  • Registered with the HCPC as a paramedic
  • Registered with the NMC as nurse
  • Evidence of Continual Professional Development

Ambulance Driving

In addition to the above, applicants must have:

  • Hold a valid EU Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (No more than 3 endorsement points)
  • License for C1 Category entitlement
  • Emergency Ambulance Driving Certificate (E.g. – IHCD, Future Quals Level 3 etc)
