This three-day VW festival has all the bits we know and love.

Sure, there’s Doorslammer Drag Racing, Show & Shine, traders, live music, and a funfair to keep the adrenaline junkies happy. But there’s also a three-day VW festival vibe where you can put your feet up, enjoy a pint, wander the stalls, and camp under the stars. Santa Pod is just as happy at 150mph as it is at 15mph.

This 1958 VW pick up spent most of her life on a farm in Oklahoma and has undergone a total nut and bolt restoration. The Rolls Royce Viper 535 jet engine is from a fighter jet with an afterburner added to produce a maximum power output of 5000 lbs of thrust.

Big Money, Street Style Race! The Doorslammers, which ran in the 70’s and 80’s is back with a huge prize fund. Seven classes featuring over 200 racers from across Europe! Testing on Friday, Qualifying on Friday & Saturday, Eliminations on Sunday.

Early ticket prices end on the Friday TWO weeks before the event weekend at midnight.
There is a Postage Fee of £3 per order (£6 recorded). There is no postage fee on E-Tickets. There is a £3 fee for Collection Tickets.
The Postage option for tickets ends ONE week before the event starts. After this time only E-Tickets or Collection will be available.
Ticket prices are per person. Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are subject to availability.
Ticket Instalment Plans and Ticket Insurance is available when you purchase your tickets online.
Kids tickets – Photo ID is required if kids look older than they are. Kids under 5 are free. All kids pay full price for Grandstand tickets.
Day admission is 8am till racing finishes. Weekend ticket holders can arrive up until 10pm on days that the ticket is valid for except the final day.
Camping is included within multi-day admission tickets. NOT single day tickets. Full Camping Info.
Any ticket upgrades made on the day will be charged the difference to full gate price.
Parking is FREE.
Certain activities including Drag Racing are subject to weather and track conditions.

Do I need to wear a crash helmet?

Yes, helmets are now mandatory for everyone going on track.

Do I need a race licence to run down the track?

No, a race licence is not required, just a full driving licence. A photo driving licence needs to be shown when signing on.

Where do I get my timing slips from?

Printed from the Sign-On Office or online at etslips.

Am I allowed to take passengers down the track with me?

Yes, 1 passenger as long as your car is fully street legal and will not exceed 130mph.

What time do I need to arrive to race?

You are best to arrive between 8.30 and 9.00am for sign on.

Can I hire a crash helmet?

No, helmets are not available to hire but are available to purchase from the Pod Shop.

How much is the ticket booking fee?

Adult ticket prices include a booking fee of £3 per ticket, Kids tickets include a £1 booking fee. There are no booking fees on Grandstand Seats or Race Vouchers.

What is an ‘Adverse Weather Ticket Policy’?

Should certain events be severely affected by adverse weather, Santa Pod Raceway may offer a credit value against the face value of your ticket for a future booking at selected events only. Any value awarded will be at the discretion of the Organiser. NOT ALL EVENTS ARE ELIGIBLE.

Where a credit value has been given, it may then be redeemed against a future Santa Pod organised event within the following 12 months – this also includes the corresponding event for the following year.

If the original order was for multiple tickets then the TOTAL credit value may be redeemed against a booking for an eligible event.

Do we need to pay for parking?

No. Parking is free.
