Drag Demos

There will be Drag displays running throughout the day featuring cars and bikes from a variety of national Drag Racing classes and invited guests.

Fuel Funny Car

Kevin Kent will be driving his nitromethane burning funny car which can reach speeds of close to 300mph, accelerating from 0 - 100mph in under one second!

Fireforce 3

The awesome Fireforce 3 Jet Car will be thundering down the strip. The Pratt & Whitney J60 jet engine develops thrust equivalent to more than 10,000hp and can run the quarter-mile in 5 seconds with a terminal speed of 270mph!

Spiderman

The brand new ‘Spiderman’ Jet Dragster is a nod to driver Julian’s dad and crew member, Roy Webb who ran a Competition Altered in the 1980s under the same name.

Fireforce 5

The Jet Dragster otherwise known as Fireforce 5 will be lighting up the quarter mile. Fitted with the same engine as Fireforce 3 but the lighter weight means speeds in excess of 300mph.

Firestorm Jet Car

Roger Goring's state of the art Ford Mustang bodied Jet car is one of only 3 centre drive Jet Funny Cars in the world and the only one outside of the USA.

Oklahoma Willy - The Jet Bus

This 1958 VW pick up spent most of her life on a farm in Oklahoma and has undergone a total nut and bolt restoration. The Rolls Royce Viper 535 jet engine is from a fighter jet with an afterburner added to produce a maximum power output of 5000 lbs of thrust.

Steam Rocket Bike

'Force of Nature' is a steam powered 'Rocket' motorcycle built for drag racing, record breaking, exhibitions and events.

It uses the latent energy of super-heated pressurised water released through De laval nozzles, where it turns to steam and creates the thrust to propel the bike forwards.

Trucker Tim

Your friendly neighbour hauler, Trucker Tim, will be appearing at Flame & Thunder. He's going to be packing the Scania with fireworks for when he goes down the quarter mile!! Don't miss the explosive collab for yourself, it should be fun!

The World’s Fastest Wheelie Bin

On the outside, this wheelie bin may seem inconspicuous, but underneath the lid hides a little secret – a 125cc Suzuki motor and custom-built trike chassis to propel it into the record books! Mike Wallhead will take this humble bin where no bin has ever gone before.

The Fastest Shed

Fastest Shed is a motorised shed designed and built by Kevin Nicks. The vehicle has been used to break the world land speed record for sheds three times since it was built in 2015, most recently with a speed of 101.581 mph set in 2018 at Pendine Sands in Wales.

Mini Jet Car

‘Reign of Fire’ piloted by Lee Dennick, is a GBC Mini Pro Funny Car and is powered by a Rolls Royce Gnome jet engine.

Drag Tractor

Danny Key will be hitting the track in his one of a kind Drag Tractor.

NASCARs

There will be a NASCAR display form Geoff Parker, Steve Stanford and Ross Charlesworth with some of the trucks taking to the quarter mile.

Jet Kart

British engineer Tom Bagnall set a World Record by achieving 112 mph in this jet-propelled go-kart.

Drivable Gazebo

Brand new for Flame & Thunder 2024 is a drivable gazebo!

Legal Street Monsters

Modified creations from "Legal Street Monsters" will be on display and out on track.

Drag Karts

An exciting line-up of weird and wonderful karts from across the UK will be racing each other out on the famous quarter mile. These crazy, motorbike engine karts have always been a crowd favourite and just seem to get quicker and quicker!

Mobility Scooter

Jon Shepherd’s mobility scooter is considerably more rapid than your average ride to the shops. Look out for some match racing with other Quick & Quirky entries including the Bin!

Look out for the Worlds fastest BMX!

Monster Truck - Podzilla

This mighty 10,000lbs, 1350hp monster truck driven by Garry Anderson and supported by Lucas Oil, will be crushing everything in its path.

Monster Truck - Swamp Thing

Joining Podzilla to wreak havoc in the arena is Swamp thing, the UK Monster Truck Nationals winning monster truck, driven by Tony Dixon.

Stunt Display - Terry Grant

Multiple world record holder and professional stunt driver Terry Grant will be putting on an action packed, precision driving stunt show.

Team Maximum Lock

All the way from Malta, Team Maximum Lock will be performing their synchronised, close formation driving and drift show using Nissan Skylines and Nissan 350zs.

Stunt Rider - Lee Bowers

Top freestyle motorcycle stunt rider Lee Bowers will be wowing the crowds with his jaw-dropping motorbike stunts.

Grizzle Squad - FMX

Expect big air and big tricks from this awesome UK freestyle motocross team making their debut at the European Finals.

Pit Party

Before the action begins, get up close to Podzilla and the other Live Action Arena acts, take photos and meet the drivers.

Fireworks Display

As always the climax to Flame & Thunder will be a spectacular firework displays that will begin as the Fireforce Jet Car crosses the finish line.

Fun Fair Rides

All the fun of the fair with Dodgems, Waltzers, Arcades, Candy Floss and Sideshows!

Token Bundles: Get 27 funfair tokens for £25 or 55 tokens for £50 and really keep the kids busy for hours! Each token counts as £1 when redeemed. (Tokens can be purchased via cash or card at the Central Token Box and are non-refundable.)

Monster Truck Rides

Rides will be available in the back of an multi-seat full size monster truck. (Passengers must be over 3ft tall)

Steve Colley - Trials Rider

The skills of motorcycle trials riders like Steve Colley have to be seen to be believed. He can do things with motorcycles that we mere mortals would consider impossible.

Volt Tour

Volt Tour is the world's first all-vehicle action show using EUC, E-Bikes, E- Scooters, one wheel and electric mounting board on various different ramps and boxes to showcase the skills with the very best riders in the UK. Watch riders launch themselves off a 7ft ramp or trying some trickier moves on the various different mini ramps and boxes.

Drift Rides

Some of the country's top drifters will be giving people the opportunity to experience the sideways driving, tyre smoking art of drifting with Drift Rides available.

Helicopter Pleasure Flights

If you have always wanted to fly in a helicopter then this is your chance with Pleasure Flights around the raceway site available. Weather permitting. £59 per person, adult or child.

Historic Aero Engines

Historic Aero Engines will be demonstrating their iconic engines that have seen wartime service.

Show Car Display

A static display filled with nothing but the finest Show Cars, featuring Hot Rods and VWs through to Supercars and Big Rigs.

Granny Turismo

Meet the Worlds first and only! Shopping Trolley Dance Display Team. The ladies from Granny Turismo have been delighting audiences since 2009 are now one of the most talked-about acts around.  Part walkabout, part circle show and wholly engaging, the show has universal appeal when these girls arrive on their suped-up shopping trolleys, everyone takes notice.

Live Band

Live band Lodestone will be playing in Fuelers Bar till late on Saturday night so no need to rush off after the fireworks. There will also be a Disco on Friday evening for weekend ticket holders.

Lodestone play a huge variety of music, performing non stop, hit after hit, ensuring you have a reason to dance.

Taylor Swift Tribute

Kaylie as Taylor Swift - It’s time to “Shake it Off” with this Taylor Swift Impersonator! This brilliant singer has captured the looks, voice and “Style” of the global pop icon. Sing and dance away to all of Taylor’s hit songs including Blank Space, 22, We Are Never Getting Back Together, Love Story, Bad Blood and many more!

Variety Spectacular

A satirical exploration examining the eccentricities of the collective British character through the universal language of eccentric dance, circus skills, classic song and variety skill routines, entwined with an original funky soundtrack and intimate comedy. Jones and Barnard have a totally fresh approach to the presentation of comedy classics, combined with a sensitive use of volunteers to comedic effect making the audience part of, not apart from, the show.

Mad Hatter’s Tea Party

The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party show will featuring your favourite characters including Alice, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, and Cheshire Cat, dancing and singing.

Barbie and Ken Show

A Barbie and Ken Show performing hit songs from the film with dance battles.

Bumblebee Experience

Transformers comes to life as Bumblebee makes a visit to Santa Pod, so make sure to get your photo taken with him as he wanders through the pits. Autobots, roll out!

Pacific Bounce Inflatables

Let the kids bounce and play all day with a selection of exciting inflatables, a climbing wall and Go Karts. Pay per session or get unlimited goes on the inflatables with a wristband for £15. (All days)

Action Wheels

A safe, friendly and exciting “Have-A-Go” two wheeled feature aimed at children aged 2 and upwards and of all abilities. Includes balance beams, sea saws and rumble strips for children to navigate their way around. Action Wheels supply a selection of bikes and safety gear that’s FREE to use.

Mini Land Rovers

There will be a fleet of 4 mini Rovers at the show with exciting obstacles to navigate. Inspired by their own children’s love for driving, Mini Rovers want to make the experience of driving an awesome mini Land Rover accessible to as many children as possible.

Spook-tacular Monster Party

For anyone under 12 years. Spook-tacular Monster Party - Disco with Monster themed party games, wicked for Halloween.

Kids Entertainment

Mad Dom is a children's entertainer with years of experience. Expect balloon creations, circus skills and magic.

VIP/Hospitality

Come along and enjoy the VIP experience including lunch and balcony viewing. Don't worry if you've already booked your tickets, you can still upgrade for a great day out or a gift.

There will be traders at the show selling anything from clothing to stickers and collectables.
