Street Weekend

Friday 13th to Sunday 15th June 2025

It's time again to find out who’s really king of the street. In a nod to the coveted Hot Rod Drag Week in the USA, we’re looking at a similar format where drivers need to set and submit a time at Santa Pod Raceway in Northamptonshire before Driving around 200 miles to Melbourne Raceway in York to set a time on day 2 and then returning again and setting a time on the 3rd day.

Track conditions will be different on each day, starting on a freshly prepped track at Santa Pod on day 1, an unprepped 1/8-mile challenge at Melbourne on day 2 and finally back at Santa Pod on day 3 after the track's had a full day of rwyb.

In summary, we’re looking at around 400 miles on the road across 3 days whilst also recording a time on track on each one of the days. We all know that Street Eliminator cars are probably the quickest street legal cars on track in the UK right now, but can they really handle that many road miles? This is the competition to find out!

General Rules

• Racers can travel between tracks when they wish but must stop at checkpoints along the way. It may be that racers must take a photo of themselves and their car in front of a banner at each checkpoint for example.
• Support vehicles and/or trailers are permitted but this must not include car trailers, tow bars or any vehicle that can be used to transport the car (motorhomes, and other cars etc. are fine).
• The winner will be the racer with the lowest combined ET from all 3 days. Failure to run on any day will result in an ET of 30 seconds at Santa Pod and 15 seconds at Melbourne.
• If the track is open for less than 2 hours on each day due to rain, that day will be declared a rain off Unless every entry has made at least 1 run.
• Racers must submit their time slip for each day to a given location no more than 30 minutes after the track closes at each track. This will allow us to provide leaderboard updates each day.
• There are currently no planned classes; everyone runs together. Only if we get a significant level of entries will we consider splitting into classes.
• A full valid recognised photo driving licence or relevant Motorsport UK licence is required to sign-on at both tracks.
• Anyone found driving like a dick or breaking UK road rules between venues and/or checkpoints during the event will be disqualified from taking any further part. This includes anyone driving support vehicles.

Car Rules

• 4 wheeled vehicles only (No quad bikes).
• All vehicles taking part must be fit for purpose.
• Arm restraints are mandatory for all open top and windowless vehicles.
• A safety helmet that is fit for purpose is compulsory for ALL competitors.
• Racers are permitted to run on any tyres at each track.
• Chassis mods allowed.
• All other RWYB rules will apply at their respective tracks (Santa Pod Rules, Melbourne Rules).

The entry fee for the event is £300 which includes sign on for each of the 3 days and admission to each venue for 2 people (driver plus 1). Additional tickets can be purchased through the usual channels.

The minimum prize fund will now be £1,000 for the winner and £500 for the runner up, plus additional money that has been added to the prize pot from supporters.

• Early ticket prices end on the Friday TWO weeks before the event weekend at midnight.
• There is a Postage Fee of £3 per order (£6 recorded). There is no postage fee on E-Tickets. There is a £3 fee for Collection Tickets.
• The Postage option for tickets ends ONE week before the event starts. After this time only E-Tickets or Collection will be available.
• All tickets are non-refundable. All tickets are subject to availability and sold on a first come first served basis.
• The option of Ticket Insurance via TicketPlan is available when you purchase your tickets online.
• Ticket prices are per person.
• Kids tickets - Photo ID is required if kids look older than they are. Kids under 5 are free. All kids pay full price for Grandstand tickets.
• Day admission is 8am till racing finishes.
• Weekend ticket holders can arrive up until 10pm on days that the ticket is valid for with the exception of the final day of the event.
• Camping is included within multi-day admission tickets. NOT single day tickets. Full Camping Info.
• Any ticket upgrades made on the day will be charged the difference to full gate price.
• Parking is free.
• Certain activities including Drag Racing are subject to weather and track conditions.
